YGARTUA  COMMENTS ON PARIS – THE CITY OF LIGHT-VILLE LUMIERE

“Ah Paris—the most romantic city of the world, with its inviting outdoor cafes, its wide boulevards, (its blase, yet very traditional approach to life), Its monumental buildings, (from French Baroque to NeoClassicism) to its aesthetic 1800 avant-garde look—it is paradise for any artist. There is so much subject-matter in Paris, so much art, so much inspiration, no wonder it has always been the centre of the Art World.

I love driving down the Champs a L’Elysee, I love driving around the Arc de Triomphe, the cobbled roads give you the sensation that you are part of another era, another century. It is not only the historical sites, but the beat of this city is unique. It is exciting and fascinating and I always appreciate the opportunity to experience and paint Paris– like many artists dream of.

It is a transcending experience, especially when you are living in Paris.  It is in the air, it is everywhere, from the museums, to the posters in the streets, everybody in Paris is influenced a great deal from the era of the impressionists. It is the reason that Paris can claim that they are the centre of the art world and it is one of the reasons that artists from all over the world want to experience painting and being there–the left bank of the Seine, Montmartre, it is all there – It is the City of Art. “   Paul Ygartua

Paul Ygartua

“FRAGMENTED REALMS OF PERCEPTION” – AN ABSTRACT EXPLORATION

Embark on a journey through “Fragmented Realms of Perception,” an abstract masterpiece that challenges conventional perspective. This intricate composition invites you to delve into a captivating world where spaces shatter, textures unfold, and acrylic surfaces fracture, giving birth to a mesmerizing tapestry of form and colour.

Within this enigmatic landscape, the harmony of circles and squares emerges from the chaos, meticulously arranged to form a surrealistic vista. Each stroke of acrylic paint tells a tale of innovation and intricacy, rendering a dreamscape that is both captivating and bewildering. The interplay of irregular hues and tactile surfaces beckons you to explore every facet of this multifaceted canvas.

As you engage with this masterpiece, you’ll find yourself transported to a realm where art and imagination intertwine, leaving an indelible mark on your senses.    Anton Ygartua
